You may have noticed a fair bit of not getting back on track going on around here... but this time I have a good excuse! For you see, my main computer (upon which I did all the scanning and finishing of webcomics) died earlier this week.
I put more details in the forum, but long and short of it is I need to get my computer up and running again before I can finish another page. However, that process is actually proceeding faster than expected, so hopefully I'll have the machine back to a point where I can finish pages in a few days. |

It's time for me to get back on track. But it's been a while since I drew anything, so I thought I'd start off with a little practice and redesign.
In other news... remember how I said I was going to scrap large portions of my original story idea for Cheer! and rewrite it? Yeah, well I've since decided to do the exact opposite and keep the original story! Hurray for waffling! I'm going to rewrite a few things so they make more sense and figure out ways to balance the humor with the more serious content, but I think my original plan was best after all.
It's times like these I'm reminded of the fact that Cheer! really is my first attempt at comic writing... I'm supposed to not know what I'm doing, right? |
