I struggled a bit with this comic, obviously not quite back in the groove as far as writing goes... or leaving myself enough space for said writing. Hopefully it can be followed.

It's been a while (temporally anyway) since Bree said anything... For those who don't recall and are understandably confused, to anyone but Alex, it's similar to what fingernails on chalkboard would sound like if they could recite bad goth poetry. To Alex, on the other hand, Bree speaks in perfectly pleasant English.

And for those who aren't exposed to MMO lingo, "DC'ed" is a common shorthand for Disconnected, when someone's internet connection dies and they disappear from the game without warning.
